PokeMachine Privacy Policy

Overview

PokeMachine is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No names, emails, or account information
• No login or registration required
• No tracking or analytics
• No advertising identifiers
• No personal data of any kind

Location Data

PokeMachine requests access to your device location solely to show nearby vending machines and calculate distances. Your location is processed on-device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Stock Reports

When you submit a stock report, we store only:

• The machine identifier
• The stock status you reported (stocked, low, or empty)
• An optional note you may add
• A random anonymous device identifier (not linked to you)
• The timestamp of the report

No personally identifiable information is collected or associated with reports.

Third-Party Services

PokeMachine uses the following third-party services:

• Apple MapKit — for map display (subject to Apple's privacy policy)
• Supabase — for storing anonymous stock reports (subject to Supabase's privacy policy)

Data Retention

Anonymous stock reports are retained to provide restock history to the community. Since no personal data is collected, there is nothing to delete.

Children's Privacy

PokeMachine does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
