Privacy Policy
Sealed does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you write, record, or save lives only on your device.
The text and voice messages you create, along with their unlock dates, are stored in the app's private sandbox on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData and the local file system). They never leave your device.
If you choose to record a voice message, Sealed asks for permission to use the microphone. Recordings are saved as audio files in the app's local sandbox and never transmitted. You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings.
Sealed schedules local notifications on your device so it can remind you when a sealed message is ready to open. These notifications are generated entirely on your iPhone — no push server, no remote service, no notification routing through Sealed or any third party.
You can delete any individual message from inside the app. To remove everything Sealed has ever stored, simply uninstall the app — iOS will erase all of its data, including every message and voice recording.
Sealed is suitable for all ages. It does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. Because Sealed has no servers, there is nothing to retroactively notify you about.
